Katie Hornbaker
MSN, CRNA
Instructor
Summary
My professional experience demonstrated in my resume is only a small portion of what makes me a highly dedicated CRNA. I am constantly pushing myself to excel at my position by ensuring my patients and their families receive the care they deserve. I also possess a great sense of humor balanced with a high level of professionalism. This balance has allowed me to work with even the most difficult of patients and has earned the respect of the physicians for whom I provide anesthesia.
Some notable qualities of mine include an advanced level of knowledge involving the application of current standards of practice to everyday patient care. I excel in high stress situations by thinking critically, remaining calm, and serving as a leader while collaborating with the multidisciplinary team. I am a highly motivated, optimistic individual with a very strong work ethic. Most importantly, I am dedicated to provide the highest quality patient care while meeting the needs of the surgeons. As a patient advocate I stand up for what I know is right and treat every patient with dignity and respect. I exemplify confidence, work with compassion and high morals and lead others to do the same.
