Dr. Erik Rauch serves as a Regional CRNA Director with Sound Anesthesia, bringing over 16 years of broad-based clinical experience across diverse practice settings, including Level I trauma centers, high-acuity obstetric units, ambulatory surgical facilities, and more.

In addition to his administrative leadership, Dr. Rauch is a part-time Assistant Professor in the Nurse Anesthesia Program at the University of South Florida (USF), where he previously served as Program Director from 2011 to 2014.

In 2015, Dr. Rauch distinguished himself as one of a select number of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to earn the NBCRNA’s prestigious Non-Surgical Pain Management certification (NSPM-C), underscoring his dedication to advanced, evidence-based pain management.

A respected leader in professional advocacy, Dr. Rauch served as President of the Florida Association of Nurse Anesthetists (FANA) from 2017 to 2018 and has held numerous leadership roles within the organization. He completed his Executive MBA at the University of South Florida in 2021 and was elected to the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Board of Directors that same year. He was re-elected in 2023 and currently serves as Treasurer.
